I had promised myself I would leave the car as it is for the next 12 months, but whilst out in it last week I was musing about whether the interior would look even better if the centre console was swivelled round a bit to face the driver...anybody done this already or have some thoughts on how this could be achieved?

Can't help with the Mk2 but on the first page of this thread is a Mk1 with the stereo angled towards the driver. Maybe contact the owner to see who did it?

Yep - Dave the Trimmer would likely be one of my first calls to do this.

The interior of the "Tagaris" was done by Plasticman. Dave did the trimming, but the bodywork was by MrP.

That being said, there does exist pictures of a TVR that has had something like what you described done
to it except even more so. It did not look good IMHO. I've got the pic somewhere.

Look at the interior of a Supra. That is slightly angled towards the driver and is fairly good in the way
it has been done. Might give a starting point for a comparison.
