Just when i thought my BMW 330D is too expensive to stay outside, i see a Audi R8 staying under snow for a few weeks.

Ok, its just the V8 version, but in my opinion those cars shouldnt stay outside !

Why not?

Go round London for example and you'll see many more expensive cars than a 330D or R8 parked outside.

Lol.
I can understand the point he is trying to make, but I still laughed at that, haha.

Maybe a long shot here, but maybe he doesn't own a garage?

That made me laugh. Just the worthless, dangerously-underpowered V8 version?! It's not really worth looking after, is it? hehe

eek Some people just don't care, how shocking, confiscate it from the owner immediately.

Since when was a 330d too expensive to leave outside? Do you drive it outside?

Cars are for looking at, not for this driving lark

Cars are designed to be used outside.

I entirely fail to see the problem with leaving them there.

Modern cars should be able to cope with this weather just fine without risk of damage.

you think a boring 3 series is too nice to park outside overnight? Mental much?

Cars are not made of salt and do not dissolve upon contact with water, as long as you wash the car occasionally and keep a layer of wax on it I reckon it is probably better to keep it outside rather than in a garage.

(Unless its a dry, heated or airconned garage)

In my eyes there is nothing cooler than seeing a well used performance car eg. R8, 911, V8 Vantage covered in snow or road grime.
I still badly want a brown Esprit complete with ski rack having seen 007 drive one.
