My guess however, is that maybe it's used by people who actually race in Britcar? Seems to be the trend for the rest of the series-specific forums.

I think you make the common mistake that rallying = WRC I went to the Forest of Dean at the weekend to watch the Wyedean rally. 158 entries, thousands of people spectating, marshalling and organising the event and that was only a lowly 'National B' rally.
Interest is still high it just can't seem to get any publicity.
ETA it would be useful for those of us who compete, spectate or organise to be able to have a chat without getting lost in the myriad of roundy roundy stuff in General Motorsport.
