Rigid 29er forks... Help!

Hi, I have a 29er, it has 100mm travel suspension forks on it (520mm a-c) I wish to fit rigid forks but most are too short, I figure I need as near to 500mm forks (axle-crown) as possible going on around 20% sag on the sus forks being the ride height. Most forks (Salsa, Gusset, Surly etc) measure 465ish, old Singular Swift forks are 485mm which I'd buy if Singular had some, but no replies to phone or email as yet...
Anyone got any sugestions please...or forks to sell?

Thanks for the ideas, just had a look at eXotic forks...465mm sadly. Thought I was in business with the FLYXI ones, but they only do tapered steerers, my frame takes a 1.1/8" parallel steerer...
Would prefer Steel over plastic (sorry Carbon) but at this moment in time I would consider them made out of lightly cooked spaghetti if they fitted my bike

Nice one, happy with the Voodoo fork- 500mm perfect Just emailed to see if they ship to UK...Fingers crossed.
Wouldn't think it would be so hard to find something so basic in UK would you. Market oportunity perhaps? or am I the only freak in this country to have a use for such a thing....

Think you're right, poking about on a few USA websites reveals a vast choice of modern length rigid forks... One of the, no, make that 'the' only time I have ever wished I was American

im pondering a rigid fork for my 26er as im going to have to use it as a commutor bike when my wrist is strong enough to ride again and theres no lock-out on the forks (dirt jumper 2).
when my compo comes through im going to build a chinese carbon 29er with rigid fork and road bike gearing for my commutor to replace the forme that got robbed off me.

I will keep you informed... Think the search continues to be as the two usa websites have ignored me so far regarding shipping the Voodoo's across the pond... I'm kicking myself for buying a 29er with 100mm travel to be honest, there is a vast choice of rigid forks for 80mm suspension 29ers & non at all (In the uk) for 100mm
If it wasn't a nearly new bike I would re-build it around an On-one Inbred 29er frame & fork, I have a singlespeed 26" Inbred & it is superb in every way, serves me right for buying a bargain bike (again!)

Linky to 80mm travel 29er forks? I may be considering similar for my hybrid...

Wouldn't have thought the difference between 100mm and 80mm would be that noticeable tbh, just one or two degrees forward.

Easy peasy for a hybrid, usually they aint suspension corrected frames, I have Surly cross check forks on my Dawes commuter Hybrid & my Cyclocross bike has Kona Project two's (both about 400-420mm if I recall correctly) problem starts when you need longer ones & even 500mm forks would drop the front end of my bike a fair bit, I have lock out suspension forks on it at the moment so I locked them at 465mm (common 29er rigid height) out of curiosity & it feels like permanently riding downhill... not to mention the reduced pedal clearance... So to me at least every last mm counts

Pretty bike, looks really nice that-cool colour too... I'm a luddite though, steel forks only need apply & I seem to remember looking at the Niner forks & they were too short for my geometry....bout 465-470mm I seem to remember, but I'm too lazy to check- & I 'need' 485-500mm.
