Really for those who have resprayed theit cars recently.

I am looking for the rear rubber for the rear screen what did you replace your with... David Geral TVR have one - but its 3-4mm thicker... Unsure if this is going to look good or not.

Thanks in advance

Mine is bonded in and assumed that was the norm, unless it was only done on early ones.

You could not refit it?

Mine has no rubber on either the rear or the front, just bonded in flush to the body. I was never sure if it should have or not to be honest, and the window has never popped out at.....er....70mph.

They were all bonded, but later ones had a rubber surrounding. Looked better tmho. But I was told that early roofdesign also differed from the later ones. There would not be enough space on my car to put the rubber around the rearscreen.

You could try Mike Williams over on www.obsoletetvr.co.uk

Interestingly mines a 98 but has a rubber surround on the rear screen, it was recently resprayed but the original rear window was re-used.

That's probably of no help to anyone, but i like a chat. smile
