Cardiff hotel parking

Holiday Inn, "no special security arrangements but we have cameras, cars left entirely at owners risk etc etc."

I can only comment on the Holiday Inn in the centre of Cardiff (next to the stadium). My flat overlooks it and I rarely hear any car alarms sounding. I can assure you that as soon as one does, one of the flat residents will be on the phone to the hotel to complain. I've parked my T350 there several times overnight and my mate regularly leaves his 360 there.. both without problems.

Cardiff City centre is not Liverpool or London.. here they're all to busy drinking beer to steal cars!

I lived in Cardiff for 3 years and during this time had my car and bike stolen and my house burgled.

South Wales is the car crime capital of the world, so I would be very cautious and try to stay at the Cardiff international which has a secure underground car park.

Well just for a bit of balance.....I've lived here in Cardiff all my life and never had any thefts/burglaries/whatever and only know one person who has......

But then there are places in any city in the world where you wouldn't go, or leave your property, if you value it.

Yeah he's right... park it in Merseyside and catch the train down. It'll be safer up there.

Things have changed Bennno. Car crime is down by about 38%. Wales is 3rd from the bottom in the car crime league.

I just naively assumed there would be some bloke from "Safe N Sound Security" with a uniform and a torch at the hotels, like they do on building sites guarding the bricks.

Guess it will be safety in numbers like the Wildebeest migration, some get eaten but not all.

Car has always been garaged overnight without exception, so sphinky twitching a bit at night exposure.
