I Do...

I know the owners. They have used it for sprinting/hill climbing. If you want a nice wedge with a roll hoop fitted, good suspension and set up well for track days etc...

you cant go wrong.

It would be fine. The roll hoop is a great safety feature, track or road! and doesnt infringe with the hood - I know they have the standard drivers seat to go back in. It is in very good nick, and looking at some of the other wedge pricing I see for 280's here on PH - it is competetively priced.

Bottom line is...go and see it and make you own mind up. I doubt you will be disappointed.

BTW...Ocean Haze Griff...Me Likey!

Haha
I remember seeing a shergar burger on the menu in a fast food gaff in Newmarket many years ago, I used to spend time with family on the national stud, good times. 350i days!

As an update to this thread about 'Red Rum' I now have this car for sale on behalf of the owner. I will be checking it over in next few days and it will be advertised in due course. Suffice to say the car is well sorted and runs extremely well. There is plenty of history showing much money spent!! IMHO the car is good value for money at £3495!! Vehicle is advertised on my website but not sure if contravening regs on here by posting the link? Cheers

Well having now driven the car properly I can confirm it runs and handles very well. Had a run out to local TVR club meet last night and performed very well. Certainly feels more surefooted than my own 350i with all the suspension modifications it has had done. Engine is running a good oil pressure. Did about 50 miles in the end and all seems good. One problem with the Sparco seat is that it is not ideal for the taller driver, I am 6'3" and bit of a squeeze to get in!! Anyway will be cleaning and preparing the car ready to be advertised in next few days. Sure it will do someone proud and be a relatively cheap way to have some fun!!
