top gear challenges

Why oh why do top gear think that the viewers are stupid. I know it is only an entertainment programme but yesterdays programme with the race with the Mustang was really a race against a range rover. As is the same on every long distance run that they do, so why make it so obvious when filming that you can see a rangie with the window open and camera sticking out! Rant over.Ill still watch next week though!

but thats not the point, they do the same thing every series, and its basically the same race a rangie v train/bus/plane etc.

Surely the RR's are just keeping up with Clarkson though? If there is any 'realism' to it then he's setting the pace and they keep up and film him.

just get over and done with then and get a range rover to race on its own. And dont think its as fast as a veron??

Just have to take it with a pinch of salt, the challenges are not exacally real are they.
