RR Vogue servicing intervals - your advise sought

I have a 2009 RR Vogue 3.6 TDV8

I bought it second hand in August 2012.

The service handbook has the following entries:

15 June 09 PDI by main dealer
6 July 10 Inspection 1 by main dealer mileage 9209
12 July 11 Oil service by main dealer mileage 17108
13 July 12 Oil service by independent dealer (from whom I bought it in August 2012) mileage 24449

The dashboard service indicator says that another oil service is now due (Feb 2012). Mileage 28000.

Can that be right? Is it not overdue Inspection 2?

Or do I just trust the service indicator to tell me what it wants and when it wants it?

Is there any way of knowing if earlier service requirement warnings have been over ridden and ignored?
