Need some new PS3 games from the UK

Hi All.

So I need my mum to send me over some new PS3 games when she comes to South Africa in MArch. As paying R699 (£50) per game out here is horrific,

I bought Hitman which I think came out in the UK last year for £50 this week.

So I need to know of some games to pick up.

For the first time in god knows how long I bought FAR CRY 3 and loved it, its actually the first ever game i have completed and loved every minute of it.

I just bought Hitman, and still undecided, gonna give it another go tonight.

So I need some ideas of what to get next.

Whats the new Tomb Raider like, heard about Skyrim, Metal Gear Rising, is it similar to the old MGS???

i would like something else similar to Far Cry 3. something that wil waste hours and I will enjoy it.

Any help apprecaited.

To also note, I dont have internet, as the max line you can get at home is 696kgbs

Skyrim is good. Fallout 3 GOTY is also good - both single player games that will keep you going for hours and hours.

Skyrim is a fancy RPG with dragons and much awesomeness, fallout is a post apocalyspe sci fi world. Both good, and both can make you spend most of your time on them. (7/800 hours on Skyrim here)

No reviews on the new Tomb Raider yet, so can't offer any real insight on that, Metal Gear Rising is more along the lines of Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, fast frenetic action with lots of combos and not so much in the way of stealth. It will review well and will have lots of the Metal Gear unique touches, but isn't really a Metal Gear game in the traditional sense.

If you have seen Game of Thrones - Skyrim is like the Game version!! Old dungeons and dragons type of game - swords and sorcery with vampires and dragons thrown in. You can learn magic and use it. You can create loads of weapons and armour and sell it or use it. You can even make weapons with magical properties.

Fallout 3 is Post Apocalypse - with radiation affected creatures, making your own weapons and just an amazing amount of things to do and explore. And it is funny too...You can reverse pickpocket someone - plant a grenade and walk away.....

ETA - I should also add that both games are real time vampires - you will just do "one more thing" and 3-4 hours later you will still be there........

Games I can reccomend (Although now quite old):

InFamous 1 and 2
Prototype 1 and 2
Grand Theft Auto 4 and its two add-ons
Dead Rising 2

You can probably get all 6 for about £50 and they'll provide hours of good fun. I enjoy games where you are a little man running about 3rd person style doing stuff, lol

PS3 isn't region locked. You can play any PS3 game from anywhere.

The orange box, should be able to pick that up cheap. Doubt you can find an online team fortress 2 game still but the half life series is an amazing game + you get portal which is a good little bonus

It is DVD and Blu Ray region locked though sadly
