So the 450 is going in soon for its body lift chassis inspection and overhaul / paint job, which brings up two questions:

1. What other jobs would it be sensible to have done whilst the body is lifted ? Diff bushes and most of the fuel pipes reasonably recently replaced but how about seat fixings (improve?) and engine mounts, thermal linings in engine bay, precat removal, any awkward suspension bushes etc, earth points ?

2. The job is going to take somewhere between 4-6 weeks dependent upon any inner chassis repair work found necessary (hopefully not). So I need transport to and from work (public transport increases my journey from 20mins to 1.5hours !). Options are hire car (probably around £320 per month) or buy a car to run for a short time. Sensible money goes on the hire car but more fun to get a fun/unusual car for 4-6weeks, e.g. land rover, classic car, fire engine etc
