What Car £1000 slight twist
Discussion
OK,
So slight twist on the usual cheap car thread. Couple of mates want to replace thier ageing Shed of a Felica 1.9D (its uneconomical to repair now) with a car that has to be cheaper to insure, the Skoda is Grp 5 and cheaper to tax the Skoda is £220pa, must look tidy (so no damage), be reliable and capable of getting to the south of France and back, and be built after 2000, they have a grand to spend.
Also must be able to cruise as well or better than the Skoda on a motorway and be no smaller.
Now they have no interest in cars at all, and see cars as white goods and basically faster than walking or getting the bus, obviously K11 Micra was first thought, but too small apparently. Apart from Hyundai accent 1.3 or Almera 1.5 i cant think of or find anything else that fits the bill.
Quick fire round if you can think of anything that might suit.
Already struck from the list, Chevy Kalos, Corolla (as none in budget), Micra (too small)
