L'Enclume...

[Bit of a Unit]

Off to L'Enclume in 2 weeks time as part of a long weekend in the lakes.

Can't wait but have at least 5 other meals to cater for!! I am well versed with the venues highlighted on "The Trip" but wondered if anyone else could recommend any culinary hot spots, from experience, to try whilst we are there.

We are staying in Cartmel

For upmarket pub grub try the Mason's Arms at Strawberry Bank, approx 15 mins by taxi from Cartmel. They also have a restaurant but it's the same menu throughout.

or the brown horse inn, at winster.

same kind of menu, really nice vibe and great food.
