A drunken policeman set his police dog on colleagues after they tried to arrest him for drinkdriving in his police car.
Walter Oberst, 34, from Styria in Austria, had been drinking heavily before he crashed into another car going home.
After he failed a breath test he refused to be arrested, and instead set his police dog on two officers. They were forced to shoot and wound the dog before they could arrest their colleague.
