Garage Covers?
Discussion
Has anybody bought the Custom Made Indoor Car Covers from Classic Additions for their Griff? They are hand made and have pockets for the mirrors, choice of colours, piping and a logo.
I am going to get a cover to stop the dust in the garage. I was wondering if anybody here has bought one these before and how much it was? Is it any good? and are there any other places that do Custom Covers?
Lots of questions there.

I've got a Leven one on order, but it hasn't arrived yet Simon! Julie! so I can't comment on it, other than they're supposed to be good.
I have a Leven one. It is just the job. My main fear with the tightly fitted ones is that they might be a fiddle to get on and off. I always cover the car when it is in the garage to prevent the cats scratching it as they tend to jump up onto it. The Leven cover is "semi fitted" so is a doddle to put on.
Cost about £75 if I remember correctly.

I have the Classic Additions cover in green with the gold TVR logo and it's very good. Cost about 220£ if I remember correctly. The fitting is excellent.
I'm giving it away since the Griff is being sold. Now if only you lived a bit closer to where I am...

If I send you a cheque to cover all costs incurred in posting it over to the UK would you consider sending to a very grateful new Griff owner ?

Ah yes, but Barreti's Griff IS Green with a butterscotch interior, which would suit that cover perfectly.
Cheers Andy.
Green with Rosso, I can live with that, No probs. Nice colour match.
Maggit how do you know what colour mine is?

Apologies Gouch, thought you weren't interested when Andy said he was in Switzerland.
You don't REALLY want a GREEN cover for a RED car though do you, imagine your disappointment every time you lifted the cover and found it wasn't Green after all
I think this debate is academic, as I'm sure that the new owner in Switzerland will have a garage and therefore need the cover.
As to your comment "imagine your disappointment every time you lifted the cover and found it wasn't green after all" I would not be disappointed as it is strictly practical after buying cleaning equipment from the polishing company. I will not start cleaning the car before it has a cover to stop it getting dusty.
Otherwise my hard work has gone to waste.
Maggit, you should know what colour my Griff is, we met in the hotel at the Griff Growl, maybe you had had too much.

I bought a tailored sateen cotton dust cover from Specialised Car Covers Tel: 01943 864646. The cover was supplied with a Griffith 500 logo...at the time it was £185 and has been outstanding!
Cheers toffer, I will definately give them a ring to see if they have a brochure. I must say, Classic additions look favourite so far. Cover-craft look pretty good but only seem to have silver, grey and tan.
