A mate crashed his Ford Puma a while ago and now needs a replacement.

He's going to be stung a little bit with his insurance but being 25 it shouldn't be too bad. He does mostly town driving but wants something as exciting/good to drive as the Puma.

So far we've come up with: another Puma [why not, great car, 125hp but it's nice to have a change]. SportKa [I think this is a great shout. Slower than the Puma but still fun and £3k will get a good one. He however thinks it's a chicks car!]. Focus ST170 [might the insurance be too high].

We need more suggestions though. It doesn't have to be Ford by the way! He also doesn't what something with mega mileage.

Ta guys.

Didn't realise that cat's cost £3k, how about a Ford Cougar or some sort of Jaguar biggrin (Sorry couldn't resist)

On a serious note, how about a DC2 Integra Type R? I've had one for over 6 years now, they are great cars.

These down to £3k now? Insurance might be an issue. Awesome car though, I had a PY one smile

Just out of budget but may persuade your friend to stretch just that bit further. Shouldn't be too bad to insure either.

Yeah, £3k seems to be starting point in the classifieds. Although I've seen a few recently go for around £2.5k on Ebay recently.

Do love the look of the PY Teg.

If insurance is a concern, and he doesn't mind a classic, what about a Moggy?
