Tojeiro, AC Ace and AC Buckland owners, and others, may be interested in a ‘reunion’ event we are trying to put together in the summer. The AC Ace prototype was a Tojeiro, and Tojeiro was connected locally to Buckland Bodyworks. The idea is to bring the cars and/or owners back to North Hertfordshire where they were made, and introduce them to some of the remaining people in the area who worked on, or remember, the cars and their manufacture. So far we have three workers and a local historian, all of whom have both pictures and memories. We would visit the sites (although there is little now to see) together with a tour around other local places of interest to classic and vintage sports/race car owners. Sunday August 18 is the date, venue to be confirmed, pub lunch (roast) also laid on. Expressions of interest and/or further suggestions and help would be most welcome via e-mail through this site.

Indeed we did. a more 'enthusiast' report will appear in our sort of comic soon. Are you coming next year? Provisional Aug 17th?

Sounds great. Remember to advertise it well.

A posting in here and on the PistonHeads Calender here, would help no doubt.

Yes, a reminder would be nice. I was fortunate to meet Mr Tojeiro a few years ago. He left an impressive legacy.
