What car? (Sorry.)

Hello all. This is a standard What Car, please bear with me.

I want:
- A nice place to sit
- A sense of occasion (nice engine noises, something a little unusual)
- Something rapid (0-60 <6 seconds)
- Some sort of waterproof roof


I don't want:
- Anything oriental
- A BMW, though I know this will rule out a lot
- Anything with fewer than 5 cylinders
- A restoration project
- Anything so absurd that a 10 mile daily commute would be a pain (for it or me)


I already have:
- A cash budget of £4k, which could be stretched if you convinced me
- A Seven clone (for sunny day thrills)
- A Suzuki SJ410 (for bad days, trips to the dump and the like)
- A garage full of tools, and some mechanical ability, but don't want to have to need these too frequently.


The evil voice in my head tells me to take out a loan and get a 964 or Stingray or Maserati 3200 or something. The budget voice points me at fairly leggy Boxsters and XJRs. All the requirements are somewhat flexible but I would appreciate some curveballs please!
