My switch is the std 91 deg C unit (off at 88 or what ever) but I'd like to lower it a tad to control my temps a bit better... I run a 82 deg stat BTW so once opened the min temp tends to be 80 ish.....

I do remember a post ages ago that listed the part numbers for all the Otter switch temp ranges... a 88 / 85 unit would be ideal... Does anyone know the post I mean or the number for a 88c Otter?...

The ECU is set to come off 'warm-up' at around 69 deg so will be fine. I'm no way saying run the engine cold... just control the band between the stat opening and the fans coming on smile

Thay sounds good.. is it a 22mm screw in type or sensor on a pipe?

TBH I have one of my fans on a variable switch I put in anyway so it comes on before the otter switch and deals with heat build up when in the garage after a run etc wink

but just wanted to bring the 'catch all' otter down smile

Have found these (think they got the on / off the wrong way round)

Have you thought about fitting the modwise fan kit?

David posted above.. and as I say, I have 1 fan already working on a adjustable stat... I could do the same for both but it uses capliary tubes on the outside of the pipes... so just wanted a 'catch all' from the existing stat smile

David wasn't talking about his fan kit though .... would have been advertising I guess.

I was suggesting his two stage cooling fan kit.
