Fog light retards

On my daily commute in to work I regularly pass two vehicles going the other way who ALWAYS have their fog lights on during the clear weather.


Yet this morning in thick fog these two same vehicles seemed to be the only ones that had their front fog lights turned OFF.


Is it a 'fashion' thing to be seen to be 'not following logic' or would you say they are genuinly retarded?

I don't worry about people with fog lights on, it's never bothered me and I don't find them dazzling.
I think they look cool, especially with yellow bulbs.

100% sure they weren't.
These lights are the type that dazzle in normal conditions, round/cicurlar and which were clearly turned off this morning in thick fog.
One of the cars has DRLs on all the time anyways, I think it could even be one of those halfrauds attachements.

The two cars usually draw my attention due to the fact that they are the only two vehicles that dazzle in normal conditions and that they seemed to be the only ones this morning that surprised me as they appeared due to lack of illumination.

No, very rare I use them, but I don't have any issues if people choose to use them.
