Yet another E36 M3 project.
Discussion
Thought it was about time I shared some info on my E36 M3 race car build.
I bought a 1994 3.0 M3 in the summer of last year for the sum total of £2750 with the plan of building into a race car to use in the Project 8 racing saloons in 2014.

initially the build started off at half sensible pace, the interior was all stripped out and good start made on removing the redundant AC and wiring from the car.

Then winter hit and the enthusiasm to be out in a cold garage dwindled, so efforts have been based around finding all of the parts, where possible using good condition used parts.
So far have managed to find a high back Cobra seat, AP 4 pots, a geoff steel racing carbon air box and most recently a set of KW competition 2 way adjustable suspension

Plan is to strip the rest of the redundant heater, AC and wiring before removing the panels, fuel tank and windows so that the car can be sent to custom cages for a full T45 FIA approved cage. fingers crossed it will be ready to try on track towards the end of the year.
