Am a little financially challeneged at the moment, so picked up this little beauty for the grand total of zero pounds (it will have to go back one day, but no rush).

It's a beast of a W210 E200 Avantgarde, which translates into a plethora of goodies:

- Automatic gearbox (appears to be quite fond of 4th as after half an hour or so that's all it will use)
- Air conditioning (faulty)
- Carpet mats (stained)
- Battery (on last legs)
- Retro stereo (only picks up Heart FM)
- Somewhere close to 4 kilos of filler

On the plus side it is comfy and, well, that's all you need in a bargain barge, right? hehe I shall enjoy wafting around in it for a while.

What do you mean "it will have to go back one day" ?

Did you steal it?

What's not to like about it?

Mate took it in to settle a debt, has lent it to me for as long as I need it. It only stands him £300. I quite like it. But it is gutless and pulling away in 4th doesn't help hehe

Nice barge. Sounds like its well on its way to being a proper mini-cab.
It's too good for that yet though - but once you encourage some rust, mis-matched some plastic wheel trims, ensure at least two of the wheel bearings are making a racket, held the front bumper up with gaffer tape and ensured the whiff of human sick is properly baked into the fabrics - then, and only then, will be ready to sit badly parked outside a flashing orange light at 3am on a Sunday morning.

Joking wink
You simply can't beat a free shed smile

On the plus side, 50/50 merging should now be a piece of cake - there are not many people out there who'll take on a slightly down-at-heel barge!

Noticed a few of your posts of late. Almost all of them are utter bks and add nothing to the thread. Why do you bother, seriously?

I had an E320 V6. It was bloody lovely but got rid because it was going through the petrol a bit on my long commutes. A 300 turbo diesel would be nice.
