Today I ended up swapping ends on a very wet, sharp corner, and hitting a post. Even though it was at 25/30 mph it's bent quite a lot of stuff.
The good news is the chap at the body shop says that it's no problem to repair it, I just need parts for him to weld in. He reckons the bonnet will be fine and can be hammered into shape where it's bent. The radiator and pipework behind are all fine, the car started again without an issue and drove back home fine.

The main bits I've worked out I need are:

Front bumper/ nosecone
Air guide within the bumper
Crossmember
Bumper reinforcer and polystyrene block
And the bit along the top over the radiator, I'm having trouble finding one of these. The bodyshop man reckons it'll bend back but if not I'll need to find another to weld in.

Yes I know I'm a complete tit for banging it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that's the front cross member. Mx5 parts sell them.

I had a look there and nearly purchased thier one. I've managed to find the entire front end with chassis rails to help in grafting it on for £80, I don't think it'll need all of that but at least I'll have all the front end bits if they're needed.

Try asking the same question on the kit car forum cos they throw what you want away!

There's a guy caled Jon (otherwise known as junk yard dog on another MX-5 forum) who works at a breakers yard somewhere in the Derby/Nottingham area. His number is 07814 010991 (phone, don't text). He's probably the closest MX-5 specialist to you, and he's very helpful.
