Just had an image and some details come up on my facebook of what is apparently how he looks now, his new name and where he works.

The original picture and post has been shared further by about 5,500 people, make that over 10k now.

Can only think the woman who originally posted it is going to be getting a knock on the door from the Police sometime in the not so distant future! idea

Having read the interview transcripts and learnt what Venables and Thompson did to the little boy I can safely say I would like both of them to be removed from existance.

Their lives will never ever be worthwhile and they will never ever be safe from people wanting to harm them. There is no point them existing at all.

Why? Unless it was someone like close family, but some random person, it's none of their business.

Should a 30 years old man be judged for something he did when he was a 10 years old kid?

I don't agree the identity should have been changed in the first place but that is history.

However once he broke bail conditions with frankly a very serious and highly concerning PC full of child abuse pics and sharing them his identity should have been made clear.

We must remember that these two monsters battered poor James to near death with bricks and 2x2 inch lengths of wood and then left him over a train track. We will never know if any other abuse was carried out or any other details of what the police found at the crime scene but I'd say it doesn't take a genius to think of possible outcomes.
They should have been put inside for life there is no way they didn't realise what they were doing was very serious
Evil visited Liverpool that day

They should have sent him to work with some poor tribe in the sahara desert. Much more cost effective and good for his soul.

No, he's obvioulsy fixed now:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/79067...

"The court heard how the 27-year-old contacted convicted paedophile Leslie Blanchard from Chelmsford posing as a 35-year-old mother called Dawn, who claimed to abuse her eight-year-old daughter.

He then tried to persuade Blanchard to send images of children being abused to him, even pretending to offer access to the child as bait.

I hope I won't get in trouble or get the thread closed down by showing a picture of his true identity but this seems to be him.

Absofkinglutely!

ETA: the way some people regard this crime so flippantly beggars belief. You should be ashamed.

I still find it astounding they are actually free and not in prison anymore. I'm not for the death penalty at all, but the time they spent in prison was disgusting

"they" are not free, Robert Thompson might be but Jon Venables is not free at the moment after he got caught with a laptop full of kiddy porn that he was trying to swop with other like minded individuals.
