The boxes are the same fitting to the cats but the tail pipes lengths are different. The tail pipe has a shorter fitting on the early box.
I think the only difference in tailpipe lengths is due to the different design of rear PU. Therefore the 3.6 boxes should fit the 3.4 car with the standard 3.4 tailpipes.One of the back boxes started blowing on my 1999 C2 with PSE. Also a bracket was rusting through. Chose to replace the whole catback as I couldn't find the parts and it was uneconomical to replace like for like.
Bought a Milltek on the 'bay and had it fitted locally by an indie for about 600 all in. Job done!
