Motorsport Adverts - Are tyres tyres or parts?

Now I really like the motorsport parts section on this forum, but there appears to be hundreds of part worn tyre adverts from traders appearing.

Excellent if you want tyres, but there are loads of them.


Why is there a wheels & tyres section, and yet all the tyres
are listed in the parts section ?



Tyres are tyres, parts are parts, come on admin sort it out and organise them.

This is the point I am making, since the exhaust and tyre traders started using the forum, its become a mess.

Numberplate sellers too! I've reported one dozens of times his plates appear in Motorsport/ice/wheels and tyres ARGH!

For a long time, PH classifieds were a good start point for guys selling off their car parts, now its been taken over by traders, who have nothing to do with motorsport or tuning etc, and sell worn tyres.


Admin - is there any intentions to change the format of listings ? If the adverts were deleted as incorrectly listed, it wouldnt take long for the trader spammers to either bugger off or list their items where they should be.


It really has gone downhill browsing the classifieds now, because of pages and pages of exhausts and tyres, its all crap ! I doubt Im on my own on this one judging the replies.

Enhanced search facility, ie trade/private or both ? there must be a fix ?
