Yep! caught the last five minutes only though Paul I'm afraid, I wasn't expecting it. Pity was, after that a number of pro camera callers, mainly those that have had children killed, phoned in to support their use, more emotive I thought than factual. Wonder what their reaction would be if their child was killed within sight of a speed camera? would they then want another? or more Police.
I think only one caller supported our view, i.e. driven by facts rather than emotions.
For anyone out side the GMR area, PLEASE don't quote me but Manchester GMR is available now on the net at www.bbc.co.uk/manchester where you will find a listen to GMR link to programs for 7 days after transmission.
What I'm not sure about is whether the Alan Beswick program is available for listening later, I.m on dial-up and the modem is too slow and I can't check.
P.S. I'm up your way for this week Paul, Grantown on Spey, Hope you ordered that good weather for me, bit mixed at the moment I understand.
