Right, her birthday is comming up and she will have 2 yr NCB; 1 on her own, 1 on my additional driver with Admiral. I have 2 cars at the mo, a Venga which she uses and I do major commutes in and my Saab 9-3 which is a very fun toy, so out of bounds to her. Now my OH hits the mythic 25 this July I am thinking to buy her something nice as a gift. Nothing pricey est, £2000 max, but would like it safe enough for her, a little sexy, maybe a topless model wink but all in all, something she can learn to enjoy driving in.

So far, I am thinking of MX5's, MR2 N/A's, Saab 9-3 N/A, then girly 206 Cab, Golf Cab.

What would you go for, if you can halve the cost even better, but I'd like something that will keep her safe but also allow her inner petrol head to come out.

Over to you,

Olly

I'm biased but the mkII MR2 is a great drive. Comfy, decent pace, nice driving position, good boot for shoes, etc.

I had an 'L' reg one and all told, I really fancy SOTW, looks a lovely motor. The only thing I fear, is I had a nasty spin in mine and I knew (or thought I did) what I was doing, I'd hate her to feel 'scared' of driving. But I am biased towards that car, I also like the lack of mates she could ferry around.
