Finding used TVRs

What are you after in your Cerbera Tripps?
Do also drop James Agger a line, he always knows of cars about to be put up for sale
and only sells cars he is willing to buy in himself.
Let me know if I can help.

Rob Ingleby?
Yeah, that's my next avenue, but I can't see where he'd be looking that I'm not... So I was thinking of him more on an inspection basis.
I used Rob to inspect my car before deciding on making the journey 'north'. Had Rob's inspection 'checked' by Austec and to be fair, Rob didnt miss much, nothing major. Mr Agger 'seemed a very nice young chap'
, from my very short dealings with him ('cept he sold the
cerb I was after originally
LOL"Young" Mr Agger has a site, www.tvr-broker.com or similar running that I believe is a kind of TVR exchange-list thing. You could try that. Or give James a call. After all, we were looking for a red/grey Griff, and ended up with a blue/doeskin!

I think the fact that your determined to buy one off a dealer, is limiting your options somewhat.
You could always find one private, then ask a dealer to give you a worthless warranty, that you could buy yourself, get them to buy the car and ask them to put a 5k margin on, for their trouble.
Alternatively, buy one private, save the 5k & put it towards an engine, when yours explodes.
I'm trying to get my head around why you want one from a dealer....

Yeah, that's the one. Well I was close-ish, a bit.
Now, where's me coat?
RUSSELLM said:Err, I'm not - looking at private ads oh PH, TVRCC and AutoTrader as well as some sensibly priced cars at dealers.

I'm trying to find if there are any avenues out there that I haven't explored or simply don't know of.

:ducksforcover:GCerbera said:I've got quite a specific idea... Lightweight, dark exterior (black/purple or perhaps green) light interior (but not tan or yellow magnolia) with contracting carpets and dark dashtop. Aircon, full leather, 18" spiders and perhaps but not essentially a sports exhaust.

Meant to speak to him at Le Mans, but got side-tracked when some nice northern TVR owners offered me whiskey somewhere in Houx close to the Agger tent!
Hey Tripps, not sure on your budget, but if I could afford one this would be it!!!
