Dash signal lights and rear brakes, 350se
Discussion
Hi guys,
i need a couple more dash lights, any ideas where the rectangular items on a wedge come from please?
Also I've got a partial seizure on one of the rear callipers, so in order to free it up, I've got to have them apart. I know these are from a jag, but any ideas what type, year model so I can get on the big bad bay please?

Hi
Rear brakes are from various Jags from mid 70 to late 80s XJ XJS E-type etc. Again you can find them on e-bay I got some for my current project from e-bay or you can get a set from Ward Engerneering of Colchester Essex but they are not cheap, good product but expensive. I picked up the calipers (New) from e-bay at £70 each but you have to fit your hand brake mech

Hi
Which lights are you talking about.
The instriments are light by bulbs the switches are light by a modified SDi system. The idea works but it doesn't produce very much light at the switches. It has to be a very dark night for you to see the light. Any background light will show the switches more than it's own system!

I've been looking at a way of increasing the light output from the fibre optic system, which as Andy says is particularly pants!Which lights are you talking about.

Kind of along the lines of using a high output LED as the source for the lights, the main issue seems to be that the actual fibre cables used aren't the best quality, but it seems to be the whole system wasn't great.
As and when I get an update, I'll let everyone know.

Try the Princess or TR7...
Cheers, couldn't find them on bad bay, so I've brought some new round ones. Because of MGB USA spec switches I've brought , I needed extra indicators for hazard fog etc cause the switches have no LEDs , and the Tvr was lacking, anyway sorted. Rear brakes are confirmed a any year xjs and cheap / plentiful at that. Double the price for the same part when you put in "e type" , isn't that typical.
Thanks for help again chaps

No worries... sorry I don't think I replied to your PM; won't be taking those spoilers of you as they're the wrong type for the 390SE (and which have always been scarce hence my interest Rear brakes are confirmed a any year xjs and cheap / plentiful at that.
