I'll be there, was due to go in January but the snow cancelled that day, i'm also booked on the 28th Feb.........it starts to get VERY addictive.
If it's your first time at Brands.....you'll love it! I'd like to see the look on your face the first time you go down Paddock Hill yikes
Weather looks to be good, might be a bit slippery first thing, but should be a dry day and cold. The MX5's can get very tail happy at Brands!
I wanted to try and run a set of medium compound slicks for the first time but i'm not sure if the ambient temperature (7-9 degrees) would be too cold for them?.....any advice from anyone.....

Come and say hello at some point during the day, i'll be in the Violet/orange E36 M3......

I have my own very yellow machine, waiting in the wings to have some slight modifications ready to be transferred into a spare trackday toy for some of our customers.........

Saw your MR2 at Silverstone today wackojacko, lingered around for a while hoping to catch you.

Looks like a foggy morning tomorrow, might cost some track time but should be bright enough for the rest of the day.

See you all tomorrow!

Yep, fantastic day out. Just a shame about my front brake failure!

I've also got some decent video and pictures, should be sorted some time this week.

Great to meet you all yesterday, certainly was a fantastic day, looked like the MR2 was going well throughout the day, shame about the MX5 brake issue, but least it's only a minor problem and everyone finished the day in one piece......well apart from a shreaded slick tyre on the BMW grumpy

Still a few more to edit up, plenty of pictures to sort through and post up. I know I've got a few good pics of the M3 and MX5.

With regards to the brake issue, it was a front off-side caliper failure, front discs and pads also appear to be destroyed. Planned works come to about £450, includes new discs and pads all round, two new front calipers, braided hoses, race fluid, and a master cylinder brace. Looking forward to the results smile

I managed to destroy my front pads in my MX5 too. The standard pads work well for a while but when I took them out they seemed to have overheated and burnt, crumbled the face of the pad.

I think OEM pads are best left for road use. I'll be using standard OEM discs and calipers with Axxis ULT pads.

Good work, need some sticky rubber on the MR2 after a proper suspension set up.

The brake M/cylinder brace will make alot of difference alongside braided lines.
