Do you have a picture?
Have you checked for fuel and spark at the plug?

Hi Kenny,

That "gizmo" does appear to be a suppressor - I assume that TVR fitted one to prevent radio reception interference.

There's a schrader valve (a tyre valve) on the fuel rail ... if you take the cap off that and (holding a cloth round it to catch any spillage) just briefly press the valve bit then does fuel spurt out? (If it does then it should be under a hell of a lot of pressure.) That'll check that you're getting fuel as far as the fuel rail.

Cheers

Phil

Still not firing there is no fuel coming out of the schrader valve, I previously mentioned there was only one wire connected to the pump on the old one, I connected both then it appeared to prime, is it possible that the wires are the wrong way round, I can easily change them but if its wrong will it fry the pump,,,

To recap, when I took the old pump off I had to empty the tank into buckets reconnected the fuel hoses is it possible there is air in the system blocking the flow to the plugs, Im going spare its a lovely day here and was going to go out a run ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
