Unusually large amount of pitting...

Started a few weeks ago.
Noticed that the near side rear was pitting up unusually quickly...
Then as the weeks went by the near side front also became very very pitted and there's also a lot of build up on the near side door.
It would seem as though there's some kind if leak emanating from the n/s/f very oily based, that's now very difficult to remove from the near side wheels and passenger door :-/

Off side, still completely 100% clean.

Any ideas anyone?

Check your brake fluid level, that's about the only fluid that could come from the front wheel area, unless a shock absorber is leaking.

Behind the cover in the nearside front arch, is the ABS unit.... It's bolted to the chassis, and has a load of pipes going in and coming out.... Might be worth a look...
