Hi folks,

Does anyone know much about the Bandinis made in the 1950s? Are there any good books or magazine articles worth looking out for? Anything on the 750 Sport Siluro would be of particular interest.

I would think that any reference books on the subject would be in Italian text, and difficult to obtain in the UK.

The expert on UK shores is Duncan Rabagliato - king of the "etceterini". He has connections with the Formula One Register, and his contact details may be on their website.

Cliff Reuter - runs etceterini.com / there is a facebook page. not many about, shouldnt have too much trouble finding someone to talk to.

Was there any connection with Lorenzo Bandini the racing driver who died in the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix ?

No connection as far as I know. That Pathe film didn't show the half of it - try to watch a film called "The Killer Years" and you'll see the aftermath of the crash in all its detail. Truly shocking. Not for the squeamish. And he was a nice guy, by all accounts.
