I have one of the old style Siemens Porsche kettles, probably about 10 years old.

It has developed a bit of a crappy pouring action these last few months, no accuracy and pisses water everywhere when filling a cup.

Is there anything I can do to regain its accuracy? Perhaps carve a little channel in the thick plastic of the spout?

Are you sure that the lime filter on the inside of the spout is clear?
