Meg the Labskey/huskador managed to skin a 5p section of skin just above her eye. Not bleeding, suppose it is more of a deep graze. She is not bothered by it & it has dried up okay (did it a few hours ago).

Whats the best way to treat it? Just leave it to scab over & watch for any infection? Will her hair grow back okay? Its in her fake eye spot (is there a correct name for those patches above thier eyes?) looks like she is winking when she has her eyes shut now frown

Just leave it. Only real issue I think is it getting infected from scratching. Just keep an eye on it.

Use some hibiscrub to clean it.

Yep do this (most chemists sell it) if not salt water (boil water first)

You should see it start healing on next couple days, if it doesn't/ gets bigger or she keeps rubbing it then you should get it checked. It is a sl odd area for her to scrage so do keep a close eye on it.

Sudocreme, well thats what my lab is currently running around with on his bonce after bumping into a fence. It was washed with hibiscrub first though.

(i know im not having much luck with dogs lately but this cut happened a few weeks ago and he keeps managing to knock the scab off it so it never heals, now the puppy sadly isnt winding him up to play fight all the time it might get a chance to heal)

She was lucky, was a near miss with her eye. Not bothered by it at all, not tried to scratch at it or rub it. No sense no feeling!

Might be an idea to give her an electric shaver...
