Already happened AFAIK.
Have heard some promising things coming out of the HH/Melling tie-up (promising for us Speed Six owners that is)...and if any of them prove to be more than sales b*llshit then it will be very good news indeed.
Is this the same Henley Heritage that, according to their web-site, issue ‘a 6 months warranty against the failure of any major mechanical component’, as long as it is ‘under 6 years old’ and ‘ has completed less than 30,000 miles ’

Is this in the same way that we can rest easy because PW is still retained on a consultancy basis, with focus on styling and development?
If you actually ask PW, you'll find that yes, he is retained as a consultant. Only he hasn't actually been consulted on a single thing and hasn't been to the factory since a week after the sale. NS is doing his own thing, period.
You need to be a wee bit careful about representing things as fact - the truth is sometimes a little different...

However, Al is keen to hear from owners and to discuss the possibilities. He's prepared to do a talk in the future if there's sufficient interest.
There are various routes he can take and what he does depends on the level of interest/enthusiasm from owners.

I have a feeling Mr Melling might be less keen to discuss the Norton thing... I think that's something of a moot point for all concerned, isn't it?!

Yes.
Is PW's style consulting a regular occurrence, or does he just pop in every now and then to give an opinion?

Ah, but that's my point LA. You mustn't believe everything you hear.
PW is currently giving about the same input to TVR as you and I. Or my Granny for that matter.
That is not to say that many of the other things you said aren't true - but you have rather hung your hat on the 'PW retained as consultant' bit. Which, according to the tall mustachioed chap, whilst technically true, in practice isn't.
On the plus side, PW himself seems to be a changed man. He wandered up and down the pit lane on Saturday chatting away, having a laugh. A marked contrast to earlier in the year when he kept himself to himself.
