GEMS plenum fit?

So it looks like the current 65mm flapper plenum is a slight restriction on my current setup. I've seen a 72mm GEMS plenum for sale but don't know if the taller plenum will clear the bonnet, anyone sucessfully squeezed one in?

Is this a Gems plenum? Its certainly doesn't look like a standard TVR one.
If it is i can confirm it does fit !!

That looks exactly like mine of my 350i which is a standard plenum.

Elliot (www.mez.co.uk) can bore a standard one out to 72mm and fit you a new throttle plate, he did mine a couple of years or so back. I think he's on here too ?? I've used a hotwire plenum as the only difference is the cold start injector which was not connected anyway, does seem more responsive with the larger TB.

Looks like I ought to pay more attention in class then! Mines clean, thought it must by newer;) than the rest of the engine.
