Hi. I am looking at buying this following car:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121066000932?ssPageName=...

Ignore the fact it says sold!!!! The title says its a WRX STI but I'm not convinced it is. Is there anyway I can tell from the pictures what it is or if not what should I be looking for when I go to view..

Thanks for any help you can offer

Ad says UK car not an import. UK cars were branded Turbo 2000 (if not a limited edition) and not STi.

Ad says 147bhp. UK Turbo 2000 had either 208 or 215 bhp.

Ad says nine stamps in the service history. What about the rest? UK cars were 7,500 mile or six month service intervals.

I'd be looking elsewhere.

Ok. Thanks for the advice... I did ask when I called about the bhp and was told it is more than stated. So basically the advert is a nonsense then??!!

Yeah defo a uk turbo, not a sti. I'd walk away, if the dealer doesn't even know what he selling how is he going to know if it's sound or not.

It's not a UK car. The only sonic blue UK cars of classic vintage were the Terzo in '98' P1 in 2000 and the 16 22B type UK's. It's not an STi, rev counter not in centre, wrong seats etc and the seats don't like like a jdm wrx and clock is in mph. I think you'll find it's a cyprus import as its rhd or special order rhd from Europe who had sonic blue cars in 2000.
