Crystal Topaz code P965 XFN5B. No good going to Halfords its TVR's own colour. Alfa Romeo AR414B (AZZURRO NOVOLA) is close match for a touch up colour. This can be mixed by Halfords.

Useful bit of info

I see they never completed the "TVR Code" under paint colour in my otherwise complete details section of my handbook!

Ah but all Crystal Topaz cars were not born equal. There was a difference between mine, Chim450's and TUS373.

I'd be wary of touching up too big an area with Novola as it is quite different; Crystal Topaz pearlesces gold whereas Novola pearlesces silver.

Oh, and no paint code in my handbook either.

A week in the life...

Monday: Look lads - I've got a new paint colour! it's a bit like Alfa's only a bit golder...

Tuesday: What happened to that new pot of paint - half of it's gone! I'll top up with some blue, no one will notice!

Wednesday: Have you got that new paint? Oh you've been using it! What colours did you use in the mix? OK I'll just splash a bit of extra gold in no one will notice!

Thursday: Someone wants their car painted in that Alfa Nuvola Blue colour, have we got any? No but there's our own concoction - no one will notice any difference.

Friday: Er, excuse me lads but I've got to write the "Paint Colour" and "Code" on all these handbooks for this weeks batch of cars - what colour is that bluey-gold lot you've been using......

Thanks guys ...(and girls)now that i seem to have the paint code, and Halfords can't match it wheres the best place to buy some. Would the Bodyman sell it since he has a body shop ? bear in mind that it would probably have to be sent as i'm in Cornwall Cheers for now.

The factory sorted me out with a small pot to do touch ups.

AFAIK, Gerbil is the guy you need to speak to.

Its not the best of colours to use as a touch up paint but if you still need some email me.
