Sunday 28th April meet - Generation AMR

Hi Guys/Girls

After the great turnout at Gaydon at the weekend, I thought it would be a nice idea to have a meet at our raceteam workshop, near Banbury, say 11am onwards?

Looking to get a good turnout so let me know if you want to attend, got parking for over 70 cars here and would be massively impressed if we filled all those spaces!

We currently have 3 of the 4 Rally GT Aston Martins, GT4 Race cars, one with '2007' bodywork, one with '2010' and one with the '2012' aero kit fitted. Hopefully all of these cars will be here that particular weekend.

As a special treat we also are rebuilding the AMR-One LMP1 007 car that ran (for all of about 6 laps) at LeMans in 2011, so that will be available for you all to view.

Will have tea/coffee & biscuits if the cars are of no interest!

If that weekend is particularlly busy for alot of you I can look into another one, but now the race/rally season has started its tough to find a free weekend.

It's a shame that the dates clash because I would love to attend. Standing by for a new date.

Wales is on the Saturday and this would be on my way home Sunday if I stayed over, so the date works for me

I KNEW you would say that - Adamski may be ok too ???

However, do you really think Tracey and Romi would want to spend the day looking at cars, bearing in mind the 'terror' they will have witnessed the previous day

It's a great idea and a very generous offer. Unfortunately it clashes with the Great Wales run! Please could we have an alternative date? In which case Molly and I would love to attend.

I think you are probably right, however a break in the terror of the journey home will be welcome relief . If Adam tries to stay up, then he will be divorced before he is married.......

Good to hear you are settled in your new premises James. We (AMOC Area 20) went to see Generation AMR when they were based down in Devon. Their set up was fantastic and can only imagine how good the new one is. You will be really well looked after and have a fantastic time when you visit them. Just wish we were not so far away.

Okay, how about Saturday 9th March? Could do the Sunday 10th March but that's mothers day so I'm sure alot of people will be busy. Let me know if that date works for many of you?
