Clutch question
Discussion
Chaps.
I understand some have used JE engineering for your clutch parts. I googled the firm and spoke with a helpful irish chap who was unsure about my requirements regarding the TVR as they had not done one for quite a few years......Have I got the right company? Anyone who has used this firm or something sounding similar could you please post a web link/contact details so I can get my parts ordered. The car is a 4.0 Chim. so I take it a standard clutch assembly for that car would do the trick unless others could suggest alternatives/upgrade. The car will remain pretty much standard with no massive power improvements planned.

Search is down for second day running
Im sure it was Silicone Kid who posted a response to a clutch question some time ago in regards to an upgraded version from John Eales. It was something like a 340lb/ft upgrade that had little to no impact on every day use ie. clutch was still light enough to operate in stop start traffic. Does anyone have a link to that thread or maybe able shed more light on it before I order my clutch from john eales.......Cheers.

Miles cheaper to get one from John than anywhere else. If they also offer a lightened and balanced flywheel on advance exchange if required. These are the part numbers for the 340ftLB clutch ,you can get one rated at 270ftLB.

When i spoke to John Eales about a sending me replacement clutch, he said the one listed above was the strongest available without going back to a paddle clutch.
