0/10 ... too Billy Conollyish to be funny
unless you were saying it in a satirical way like Jerry Sadowitz, then i'd boost it to a 9/10

PH rants are assessed and scored. You did well on swearing, others will rate it higher smile

I didn't know that. Is there a rant style guide? As I get older the desire to rant grows ever stronger, and I'd like to think I'm doing it properly.

The edinburgh council website says that the works are finishing on the 14th of march.

I was a bit furious today, my first venture into Edinburgh for a couple of weeks. Really wasn't amused when I went uphill from Drumbrae roundabout and found I couldn't turn left onto Queensferry Road, had to turn right... heading INTO bloody Edinburgh when I wanted to leave. Had to make a detour via Davidsons Mains and Cramond to get to SQ.

Presume most roadworks in Edinburgh at moment due to track laying for White Elephant Tram Inc. Ironic said public transport innovation is causing more traffic chaos than everyone commuting by car.

On news tonight. Tram takes first passengers ( non paying freebie plants I presume) from the airport....to the depot at Gogar! You could walk that.

Yep, it's the RBS airport shuttle. They should just scrap it use the money to Tarmac the roads again.

Now they're digging up Q'ferry Road eastbound. Sorry, that should read "they've laid out cones", fk knows when the digging will start.

And they haven't gritted the roads round our way despite media warnings every 5 minutes about snow being on its way.

I am livid! Livid, d'you hear?

We made the mistake of visiting a few weeks ago. Popped into Murrays for a browse then did some shopping in the centre. Leaving during rush hour was not a good move.

Yep, they're digging up the bit of road that was newly resurfaced just last week. Genius.

Allright for what?

There are roadworks on it in Balerno which may cause a slight delay at busy times, and further on in towards Juniper Green.

Well, this morning they seem to have removed the cones in the section leading up to the Barnton lights - only for some to park his car there instead. Knob.
