Sorry I missed the Gaydon meeting this weekend but I was a little busy

I've been thinking about joining the 'surplus cylinders' club for a while and a few things/people conspired to send me to the bottom of that slippery slope.

The AM interest free offer kicked things off but whilst the deposit and monthly payments seemed ok the £60k balance at the end of two years and commensurate depreciation from (discounted) new price, for me, didn't.

Then came AdamV8V's 'man maths' - thanks Adam!!!

Then I recalled AdamV12V's thread (there's an Adam theme going on here) regarding his new car and how pleased he was with his choice of colour.

Sooo.......

Recession white - on the basis that if I'm going to go for it I might as well go for it - and as that took all my bottle 'suicide black' beckoned.......... for me















2011, 7k miles. Sorry pics aren't fantastic but it will be a while until I get around to taking anything better.

Thanks also to Phil (MakoV12V) for his advice and encouragement.

First impression- stunning. The sound is incredible, the performance savage and it seems so well put together. I am VERY happy.

And finally don't worry George I am bracing myself - but I am NOT painting the louvres

Romi and I soon (fingers crossed) to be buying a house. Apparently they're a safer financial bet than a V12VR, so will be needing to make do with just the eight cylinders for a wee while yet.

And even though Cockers left me for dead on the way back from Gaydon yesterday, I know that was 10% bhp and 90% talent!
