(another) What car - Saloon, 14-15k wafter

Morning all,

I'm posting this on behalf of a close friend who wants to replace his 07 520d with a newer car, after turbo trouble and wanting to escape future bills that may be looming (near 100k miles now).

I suggested a 550i or a 750i as I'm a bit of a BMW enthusiast. Others suggested A8, Lexus etc, Jag XF supercharged. But at this level I'm usure what is best really.

He says the car must have heated seats, Nav (he already has those) and reasonable mileage, so 60-80k I think. And plenty of performance. He needs 5 doors, space at the back for 2/3 adults. Reasonable fuel economy, so I think something in the 20's.

He already said he'd seen the A6 but didn't like the interior, any suggestions? I already advised him to steer clear of diesel as he does about 10,000 miles a year and already he had the usual diesel issues.

How about A8s..what are they like vs Jag FX or the Lexus above?

From the looks of it a8 is the best one.. Had alot of goodies that others don't.. Don't think the BMW 7 series gets close either.
