Ride in a Zonda F

Hi everyone

I did something most Petrol heads dream of last Friday, and was offered a ride in a Zonda F!!

That 7.3 AMG V12 is an absolute monster of an engine, the torque was just unbelievable, it pulled like a train and unlike anything I have experienced to date. The experience was reminiscent of an F50, by the way the engine dominates the experience and vibrations run through the seat, up your spine and are a complete and utter assult on the senses!! No wonder these cars are so iconic, they really are as good as it gets!!

My friend has a body shop that does all the work for a local businessman. They recently did some work on his Zonda F and no one was allowed to drive the car apart from the owner, he offered to take my friend out for a passenger ride when he collected it, but he had to ring his insurance to tell them first!

He had to ring the insurers to tell them he had a passenger in the car?! Are you sure he wasn't on some sort of register?

I've had a ride in an F40 around Knockhill. The bit that still sticks out in my memory is when he floored it out of the pits - awesome acceleration & noise!

I've had a passenger ride at 7am as the sun rose over the country roads of Ontario, Canada, in a RUF CTR at full boost.
