How much are stainless steel manifolds? - I imagine they're expensive since there is a lot of work involved making them.
Don't forget that you can buy the head flange plates ror a lot of engines now, and buy all the stainless parts, so for the brave, you can do the sums and design and make your own, resulting in a well fitting gaffa taped manifold if you are careful, which can be presented to a good tig welder for finishing. now there's a challenge for you!!

Do you need to take them a design for the manifold for them to work from, or do they design it for you? - I imagine the length and bore of the pipes makes quite a difference to engine performance.

Well thay had a Vixen exhaust and manifold, but it completely didn't fit (typical TVR), so the old exhaust was sent to them and they made it from that one.How much are stainless steel manifolds? - I imagine they're expensive since there is a lot of work involved making them.
I think the whole thing was around £600 from memory, but the workmanship is excellent.

BTB Exhausts have done work for me and it was spot on.
They made some special silencers with trick baffles which sorted the problem of my Tiger blowing its baffles out after spirited use.
