Hi all

I am sure I've seen a photo somewhere of a wedge with Griff/Chim style alloy roof supports/struts.

Do these fit straight on as a direct replacement? As mine are rough looking.

Cheer Karl.

Hi,

I think they need a little modification, holes enlarging. There is a thread on here somewhere about polishing the standard ones.

Cheers

They are like "Rocking Horse Poo" to get hold of off a Griff now
or sell for an awful lot of money

I have been keeping an eye out for 3 or 4 years

Hi

I have fitted a set to a wedge and am planning on fitting a set to another one in the next week or so!
The fit fairly well you just have to make a new hole below the current one on the back wall, about 1/2 inch down no problem.
To find a set of struts are the biggest problem.
I have been lucky and found a set on PH classifieds only five weeks ago! The cost can be from £70 for a set or upto £70 per unit!

Do the Tamora ones fit better as I believe these are a bit shorter, but probably harder to get hold of I suppose.. maybe not one of my better ideas then...

Cheers, Al.

HE HAS A STASH OF THEM OBVIOUSLY!!! Ha ha

At £65 for 1 I think I can manage with black ones
as they are behind me so I don't look at them

£65 may be the market value but a little steep for me :-(
