TVR Summer Camp on the Isle of Wight.
5th,6th 7th July 2013.
The Isle of Wight region invite you to a weekend`s camping this July.
The event is being held in the grounds of longstanding TVRCC members Clive and Jo Westmacott`s house in Merstone.
There will be a Treasure Hunt on the Saturday, route map and directions will be provided along with a questionnaire, this will have you exploring all parts of the Island, taking note to answer the questions along the way.
So come and test your observation skills along with your driving skills, enjoy the scenery the Island has to offer, stop off for a well-earned midday pub lunch before completing the hunt in the afternoon.
Saturday evening at the camp site, there will be an organised bar-b-q and an adult magician on hand to entertain you, prizes will also be awarded for the best and worst participant of the Treasure Hunt, and furthest travelled to the event.
There is a maximum of 50 car spaces, 50 tents, 100 people for this event.
No huge bungalow sized tents please.
Contact Clive Ford Island RO to book, email ro@tvrcc-iow.co.uk or via my profile.
Price for this event £37per person.
Price includes, 2 nights camping, Saturday evening bar -b-q and entertainment, and free hot drinks ,tea and coffee available all weekend.
Please supply your own soft drinks and alcohol.
Camping facilities, camping on well drained grassland, access ok for low ground clearance vehicles, toilets available on site, large marquee to shelter from sun, or even rain!
Bar-b-q`s only in designated area, there will be gas fuel bar`b`s available for campers use for Friday evening, or breakfasts if required.
We have arranged for full English breakfasts including tea or coffee at a discounted rate of £6. per person (not included in event price) at the Arreton Barns pub for the Saturday and Sunday mornings, the pub is a 5 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk from the campsite, the pub is also an excellent choice for a meal and a drink on the Friday evening.
Saturday breakfasts from 8.30am, Sunday from 9am. www.arretonbarns.co.uk
We have negotiated a discounted rate for ferry travel with Wightlink car ferries, 20% off the normal price for travel on the Friday and Sunday, details on how to book given with event booking form.
If you would like to take part, please email me for the event booking form, please note your space is not guaranteed until the completed booking form is returned, and full payment made.
If you have any questions at all please ask away, this will be the Isle of Wight regions first ever event, and we hope to make it a great success, we have tried to keep the costs as low as possible without losing out should the level of attendance be lower than expected, however, in the event of attendance being high any surplus funds will be donated to a local children`s charity.
Mods, I have already had this approved by Garlick to post this.

I must say this is very generous of you. This is being held in the grounds of your own house? Do you have a campsite, or is this just a large house/garden?
It all sounds fantastic, and great value for money.
