That is truly bizarre.

On the road coming out of St Aubin's? I have no idea how. Perhaps trying to sneak out of the parish car park down the footpath, and went over the bench?

Can't work out whether he went in backwards (in which case it was a pretty clean shot backwards on a straight bit of road) or forwards. There isn't (iirc) any parking directly in front of that area, so I can't imagine it was a parking mishap unless he was trying to park on yellow lines.

Strange however he did it.

He definitely went in backwards ... bench is squashed accordingly!

Well it's here. And I can't imagine what on earth he was doing going backwards at this point

Even if he was totally caning it, it's a straight bit of road with no parking. It's totally dry tonight, and not particularly cold.

I simply can't imagine.
